A Lesson From $1200 order on Fiverr
It was a beginning of my career at fiverr. I was level one seller in April 2019. Got a message from a client from USA and we agreed upon the budget of 1200 Dollars for nearly 100 articles.
I outsource my 95% of the work and started working on those articles. Did few articles and then they changed their plan that they no longer are going to work on this niche and they asked me to cancel it.
I was in shock and thought that this is the first biggest order of my life and now it is going to be canceled.
Though they placed another order to compensate me for all the articles that I already did and even they paid 50 USD extra as well for causing the trouble.
With a heavy heart and saying to myself “kisoi na allah chaile r o dibe, j ei porjonto niye ashlo tini amk r o shamne niye jete paren”
and I pressed on “Accept Cancellation”
They were happy with my professional behavior as I didn’t create any kind of problem for them, everything happened with in few minutes.
They did like my work, they liked my behavior and later on they took me in for their every content need. We moved on from Fiverr and started direct dealing.
They started paying me via payoneer and I kept working for them.
Today is 6th August 2020 and it is their 3rd site that I have ranked in Google and I am continuously doing SEO as well as writing for them.
I have made thousands of dollars with them including Fiverr, Direct Dealings and upwork.
Yes, they helped me to set up my upwork profile as well.
Lesson for you is that, you need to understand the situation of buyer, you need to consider buyer’s money your own money. You need to make that much blind trust that they start following you whatever you say, they say do your thing we trust you.
